What does our selection process look like?
Submitting documents
Upon announcing candidate selection, documents from applicants will be accepted until the date specified in the job notice.
Reviewing CV's
A member of the Human Capital Division team reviews the submitted documents and checks whether the applicants meet the requirements.
A short phone call
A member of the Human Capital Division team may contact the applicants and, during a short telephone conversation, clarify their expectations (wage, motivation, take into account their knowledge and/or experience).
Interview with the hiring manager
During the interview, we assess applicants’ general and professional competencies, skills, abilities, work experience, material and personal qualities, and motivation.
Practical task
A practical task can be assigned to applicants to test certain knowledge as well as understand and/or predict behaviour in real situations related to future work. Applicants may be asked to carry out an analysis based on certain data, to prepare presentations, or to provide essays on relevant topics.
Recommendations
The applicant may be asked to submit recommendations from a former employer or manager.
Decision and job offer
The decision is taken and the initial job offer is submitted to the successful candidate.
To ensure that reliable persons work in the Bank of Lithuania, under the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Prevention of Corruption we check whether the successful candidate has a good reputation.
A final job offer is presented to the successful candidate.
