As a Senior IT Data Engineer, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals to design and deliver robust, scalable systems that handle complex data flows in cloud environments.

What you’ll do:
- Support the IT Lead with technical design and application architecture for IDM solutions.
- Design and develop high-quality Java applications based on microservices running in cloud environments.
- Implement data extraction, processing, and ingestion workflows for Data Warehouses.
- Define, execute, and automate unit and integration tests with excellent code coverage.
- Take part in Agile team ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives.
- Contribute to system operations, ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability.
- Draft clear and accurate technical documentation and keep it up to date.
- Collaborate closely with operational and infrastructure teams.
- Provide support for test and production environments — investigate and resolve issues.
- Drive continuous improvement within the squad, sharing ideas and best practices.
What we expect:
- English: C1 level (spoken & written).
- Experience:
- 4+ years as a Senior Developer or in a similar software development role.
- 2+ years developing data extraction, processing, and ingestion solutions for Data Warehouses.
- Technical skills:
- Strong knowledge of Java, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud environments.
- Experience with Data Warehouse technologies (e.g., S3, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB).
- Hands-on with Kafka, Kafka Streams, Flink, ETL, CDC tools, Druid.
- Familiarity with data management practices: data governance, classification, privacy.
- Proficient in DB data retrieval, indexing, and performance optimization.
- Experience designing and creating REST API endpoints (API specification, OpenAPI, API First).
- Team & Agile skills:
- Clear communication and collaboration in dynamic Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Nice to have:
- Experience as a Data Warehouse Solutions Architect.
- Working knowledge of Spring Boot, JMeter, and observability frameworks like OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with retail payments and/or ISO20022 messaging.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding practices.
- Certifications in Agile methodologies (a plus).
